Thomas the Tank Engine is now available in an electric HO scale train
from Bachman.
The train will run on any HO scale layout and it has a number of interesting
accessories to go with it. You can start out with one of three sets. The basic set includes Thomas, Annie and Clarabel. It also has a thirty six inch circle of track, power pack and speed controller. There is a Percy set also available. The Deluxe set includes Annie, Clarabel, Bertie, Sir Topham Hatt, Harold the Helicopter, and a fifty-six by thirty-eight oval of track, transformer and speed controller. The locomotives feature rolling eyes which move from side to side as the train moves around the track. There are five locomotives available - Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, and Henry. The engines are colorful and all have the moving eyes. The set includes Bachman’s revolutionary HO EZ Track which can be set up just about anywhere quickly and easily. All the sets are ready to run and include instruction manuals. There are a number of other characters which can be purchased to go with the set - James, Gordon, Henry and Cranky the Crane. Bachman is introducing several new characters for 2005. These include Cargo Car, S.C. Ruffy, Sodor Fuel Tank, Express Brake Coach, Composite Coach, Fred, Rickety, Tidmouth Milk Car, and the Tar Tank. The line was introduced a couple of years ago and has grown since then. Thomas is a fun for kids to play with and grownups enjoy watching the charming characters go around the track.
