Tomica World Thomas The Tank Engine Battery Powered Train
|
|
Tomica World Road and Rail System from Tomy is another popular
Thomas the Tank Engine
train line. The battery operated plastic engines run on color blue plastic track.
The system is suitable for ages three and up. The engines use a single AA battery,
and will also run on the Wooden Railway System from Learning Curve.
This system is also a pretty extensive line and includes several engines, accessories,
die-cast motorized cars, bridges and other accessories.
|
The die-cast cars are motorized and are designed to run on gray roads which are
compatible with the blue track. There is an ambulance, fire-truck, dump truck and
other vehicles in the line.
Engines for this system include Thomas, James, Bertie, among others. The engines
include three cars coupled behind.
The durable track is bright blue in color and is double sided making it easy for
small hands to assemble. There are straight, curve, intersections, and
t-connectors.
You will find bridges to cross, tunnels to go through, and even a country station
to rest your passengers. There is even an operating turntable to turn the engines
around.
Sets are the easiest way to get started and are available in various sizes and price
ranges. The basic set is a circle of track and includes Thomas, and some accessories.
The biggest - the Super Big set has four engines, some roadway and enough track to
run several trains at once.
Tomica World features some other Thomas items not included in the Road and Rail
System. There is a radio controlled Thomas, Thomas Push and Go, Pull A Long Thomas,
and the Big Loader Set. This fun set has lots of action as Thomas receives and
dumps cargo loads, the load goes down a chute, to start the cycle all over
again.
Tomica World Road and Rail System is another fun train system in the wonderful
world of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Have fun playing with trains!
